CALENDAR
Listed below, you'll find the event calendar for forthcoming trips. Note that these dates are presented in good faith, but are subject to last-minute changes or even cancellation, depending on weather conditions, destination availability, track closures, or other factors beyond my control. It's always a good idea to monitor the mailing lists or this page to keep up to date with what's happening. The Details information section for each date, plus the Trek Information Page for each location, will tell you everything you'll need to know. You can get to the Trek Information Page either through the hyperlink below each listed month, (ie: Moreton Island ) or via Locations in the main menu. Remember, if you wish to participate in any of these treks, you must contact me beforehand.

Get ready for yet another trip to our favourite sand island. This trip is a little unusual in that it's only a little over a year ago that we were here last. This time we'll dispense with the cyclones however :)
We'll be camping on a 38-kilometre long stretch of pristine beach. The weather in July is quite pleasant, so there'll be plenty of opportunity to swim, fish, drive the sands, and do horrible, naughty evil things to nekkid submissives (and even if they do complain, which I doubt, they can't get off the island anyway unless they're bloody good swimmers when wearing shackles).
We'll be meeting at the Micat Offices (14 Howard Smith Dr, Port Of Brisbane QLD 4178.) at exactly 0700 to load the vehicles onto the ferry.
Make sure you have sufficient supplies (food, fuel, etc.) as there's no Woolworths anywhere nearby!

2011 Total Lunar Eclipse Tour
This trip is going to be special. The next total lunar eclipse that will be visible from Australia will occur on December 10, 2011. Witness this event far away from the back scatter of our cities and towns. Imagine sitting around the camp fire and then, as the night progresses, watching the night sky and seeing the moon slowly extinguish. Depending upon the refraction from atmospheric dust particles, if we're lucky, we'll see the moon turn a deep orange/red. The total part of the eclipse will only last 26' 08", but it will be a very spectacular 26 minutes indeed.
And after the eclipse is over, it's back to caning and flogging submissives as usual :)
The exact location will be published closer to the date of the weekend, since the location will depend on the viewing climate. However, it will be somewhere in NSW.
